A person may be able to access support through the Modern Slavery Victim Care Contract (MSVCC) when they have been referred into the National Referral Mechanism (NRM).
Support may be available at different stages of the NRM process, including before a reasonable grounds decision is made and after a positive reasonable grounds or conclusive grounds decision.
A person may be able to access emergency accommodation and support before receiving a reasonable grounds (RG) decision if this is necessary to prevent destitution or reduce the risk of further exploitation.

A person who receives a positive reasonable grounds (RG) decision can access the full package of MSVCC support.
Support is provided during a minimum 30-day recovery and reflection period and will usually continue until a conclusive grounds decision is made.
A person who receives a positive conclusive grounds (CG) decision is entitled to a further 45-day move-on period before support ends.
Where a person is already receiving accommodation that is considered safe and suitable from another source, the MSVCC will not usually provide accommodation. This may include:
