NRPF Connect is the national database for councils to record details of households with no recourse to public funds that are being provided with accommodation and/or financial support by adult social care and children’s services.
We report on this collective data annually and for 2024-2025 will be publishing this data on a quarterly basis.
The data demonstrates that councils play a key role in alleviating homelessness and destitution for families, care leavers and adults with care needs, who are excluded from mainstream benefits due to their immigration status. However, significant funding, policy and operational changes are required in order to ensure that this essential safety-net functions as a short-term intervention for all those that need it.
