• Turn2us - information about benefits and grants, benefit calculators & a telephone helpline
• Money Helper (formerly Money Advice Service) - information about benefits, debt and other financial matters & search to find a local debt adviser 
• Child Poverty Action Group - specialist advice on benefit entitlement to organisations supporting families with children

Legal aid advisers

In England and Wales, legal aid is available for some benefit appeal work. The Legal Aid Agency and the Legal Aid Boards in Scotland and Northern Ireland provide information to help a person find a legal aid adviser in their local area:
