We are redesigning the NRPF Network website to make it easier for you to find support and information online. We’d like to invite you to take a survey and share your feedback so we can make sure the new website works better for you. The survey should take about 10 to 20 minutes and is open until 14 June.
We welcome councils and other network members to join us at an in-person event to celebrate our 20th birthday.

The NRPF Network turns 20 this year and we will be marking this milestone with an in-person event in London for councils and other network members.
This celebration will bring together colleagues from across the UK to reflect on how this very niche but important area of social work practice has developed, consider challenges and opportunities in light of recent policy developments, share learning and practice, and to help shape the role of the NRPF Network going forwards.
We will be providing lunch, workshops, speakers and plenty of networking opportunities. A small charge is required to help manage bookings.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support of the Network over the last two decades and look forward to welcoming as many of you as possible to celebrate with us.
You will be asked to select which workshop you wish to attend when you complete the booking form.
Promote good practice in the effective use of NRPF Connect to support case management, data accuracy, reporting and best practice.
Through practical examples and discussion, including how to obtain immigration status information, progressing cases with the Home Office, managing user accounts, and reviewing caseloads, this workshop will highlight how adopting a good practice approach can improve both individual case work and wider service outcomes. It will also be an opportunity to learn from the last 14 years of operation and for users to provide feedback on proposals to improve the service.
Examine different service models, which include either a dedicated NRPF team or specialised NRPF roles.
This session will be an opportunity to learn how councils have shaped their specialised teams or roles across adult or children's social care, or both practice areas, and the benefits and drawbacks they have encountered. Attendees will hear from councils and will be encouraged to share their own approaches and future plans to bring together best practice approaches for councils of all different sizes and contexts.
Explore how local authority social care services can assist people they are supporting to access high-quality immigration advice and progress their claims.
This workshop will bring together perspectives on navigating the system, improving practice, and supporting individuals with additional needs. Hear from the Immigration Advice Authority, an expert on accessing immigration advice for people who lack mental capacity, and a local authority.
Please complete our booking form. One form will need to be completed for each person that wishes to attend and you will need to include your workshop preference.
The event will be held at a location in London N1, which is easily accessible by bus and underground. You will be provided with full venue details after your booking is confirmed.
