Support in Islington for survivors of non-recent child abuse

The impact of the harm caused in childhood can continue into adulthood. Our aim is to enable those affected by the negative consequences of non-recent childhood abuse to enjoy good health and thrive.

If you have been affected by abuse within Islington’s children’s homes up to the 1990s, you may be eligible for support.

Types of support

Examples of how we can help you include:

  • accessing trauma support
  • accessing your care records held by children’s services and supporting you to understand your time in care
  • work and learning
  • community and health and wellbeing activities
  • housing and welfare advice and support

What we do

We work with you to identify and arrange person-centred support that can lead a positive future.

It is easy to get in touch. To access support for yourself, or on someone behalf, complete the online referral form.
