Freedom of Information request

Instead of only releasing information on a 'need to know' basis, public authorities are required to provide any information requested, unless there is a very good reason not to (exempt information).

Information already available

Before making a Freedom of Information request, we recommend checking if the information you seek is already available:

  • Publication scheme: Information that is frequently requested can be found here. This includes information about the council’s structure, finances and policies.

Information that we do not hold
