Reuse and Recycling Centre

You can dispose of your household recycling and rubbish at the Reuse and Recycling Centre.

Visit the Reuse and Recycling Centre to dispose of household or garden waste items at the that you can't put in normal household recycling. Check what you can recycle in your normal household collection service.

Items we can't accept at the pedestrian drop-off point

For practical and safety reasons, we cannot accept the following items at the pedestrian drop-off point. You can still bring them in a vehicle.

  • waste from businesses
  • gas bottles
  • commercial batteries (for example, emergency lighting batteries)
  • paint
  • hazardous waste
  • tyres
  • household or garden chemicals
  • soil
  • builders rubble
  • large appliances
  • general household rubbish
