See below for lists of paper and cardboard items you can or can't recycle

What you can recycle

You can put this paper and cardboard in your recycling container:

  • newspapers, magazines and catalogues
  • milk, juice and soup cardboard cartons (including foil-lined cartons)
  • telephone directories / business directories 
  • envelopes (including envelopes with windows) 
  • junk mail 
  • office paper (including coloured paper) 
  • wrapping paper 
  • books (hardback and paperback) 
  • shredded paper 
  • cardboard (including flattened boxes). Large, flattened cardboard boxes that do not fit inside should be stacked beside your recycling container
  • corrugated card 
  • egg boxes 
  • greeting cards.
