Youth crime

Working Together for a Safer Islington – a partnership response to tackling youth crime in our borough

Islington’s youth crime plan, Working Together for a Safer Islington, can be downloaded from useful documents below. It is thought to be the first youth crime plan in England to be based around child safeguarding. It sets out a blueprint for tackling youth crime until 2020 with a focus on prevention and early intervention and safeguarding.

If you have any concerns about a young person becoming involved in crime please call 020 7527 2600 for help and advice.

If you have been a victim of crime and would like support, call Islington Victim Support on 0808 168 9111.

If you want to report a crime or anti-social behaviour incident in your area call the non-emergency number: 101.
