The information we collect about you would include, but is not limited to:

- Date of birth
- NHS number
- Address
- Ethnicity
- Contact details (phone/mobile/email)
- Gender
- Physical or mental health condition
- Language
We use your personal information to
ensure that we meet all of our legal and statutory duties including, but not limited to, those which apply under the following legislation and/or contractual agreements

We will process your contact details, personal details & details of your health for the purpose of:
- providing you with services
- administrative purposes and customer service
- to check and, if needed, update your details on our systems
- contacting you to take part in surveys and ask your opinion about our service to ensure we understand how we can deliver a better service to our service users
We will not share your details with anyone, including other Council departments without express permission from yourself.
We will not share any personal or sensitive information with third parties which will identify an individual. All research reports that is done are depersonalised, with data aggregated up, so that individuals can not be identified.
Retention
Unless specified in the legislation cited above, data will be retained for a period of 7 years.
Complaints
If you are dissatisfied with the service you have been provided and have exhausted the council’s corporate complaints process, you can refer any complaints to the Housing Ombudsman and/or the Local Government Ombudsman. Details of how to complain can be found here.
